Yesterday, I noticed wisteria in full bloom up the road. The hummingbirds showed up looking for the feeder on Tuesday. My sinuses are anxious for the oaks and pines to finish up with their spring bloom. The ranunculus are blooming away now, as is the watermelon sage.
Kay, thanks for visiting Faire Garden and for helping to identify this daffodil. Van Sion’s description in Old House Gardens is spot on. I guess out growing conditions are not quite right, for we have never had this mass of petals encased in a trumpet. Many thanks!
